Our parish has vibrant programs for our children and teens, and our catechists are dedicated to working with parents to educate our youth in our Catholic Faith. We average between 30-40 students per sacramental class. 
Registration opens June 18th
Requirements:
Weekly Mass attendance: Pursuant to Cannon Law, students are required to attend weekly mass and Holy Day of Obligation. Students have a sign in sheet at the front of the Church to sign in for the sacrament. 

"Can. 1247 On Sundays and other holy days of obligation, the faithful are obliged to participate in the Mass.
Moreover, they are to abstain from those works which hinder the worship to be rendered to God, the joy proper to the Lord’s day, or the suitable relaxation of mind and body."
Family Faith Formation Classes: Parents are required to attend Family Faith Formation classes that meet either once a month or weekly. 
Registration: Families must register with the Church for their sacraments. 


Nuestra parroquia tiene programas vibrantes para nuestros niños y adolescentes, y nuestros catequistas están dedicados a trabajar con los padres para educar a nuestros jóvenes en nuestra fe católica. Tenemos un promedio de entre 30 y 40 estudiantes por clase sacramental.
La inscripción se abre el 18 de junio.
Requisitos:
Asistencia a misa semanal: De conformidad con la Ley Canónica, los estudiantes deben asistir a misa semanal y al Día Santo de Obligación. Los estudiantes tienen una hoja de registro al frente de la Iglesia para registrarse para la Santa Cena.
"Can. 1247 Los domingos y demás días santos de precepto, los fieles están obligados a participar en la Misa.

Además, deben abstenerse de aquellas obras que impidan el culto que se debe rendir a Dios, el gozo propio del día del Señor o el adecuado descanso de la mente y del cuerpo".
Clases de formación de fe familiar: se requiere que los padres asistan a clases de formación de fe familiar que se reúnen una vez al mes o semanalmente.
Registro: Las familias deben registrarse en la Iglesia para recibir sus sacramentos.​

Sacramental Preparation



Baptism: 
Baptism is offered for any child, after the age of 7, children will need to complete one year of religious education before being able to participating in the sacrament of baptism. Parents and God parents must complete baptismal preparatory classes. Godparents must be full practicing Catholics, either be married through the Catholic Church or be single, and cannot be cohabitating with a partner. 


First Reconciliation & First Holy Communion: 
This is a 2-consecutive year program. Children should be at least 7 years of age (first grade) to begin preparation for these two sacraments.  Birth and baptismal certificates are required at enrollment.

Confirmation:

Confirmation is open to students 7th-12th grade or 12+. We will need a copy of your child's birth and baptismal certificate, with notations detailing their First Communion.

Children RCIA: 
Offered to students over the age of 12 who have not received Baptism or First Communion. Classes usually offered  in Spanish. 

Bautismo:
El bautismo se ofrece para cualquier niño; después de los 7 años, los niños deberán completar un año de educación religiosa antes de poder participar en el sacramento del bautismo. Los padres y padrinos deben completar las clases preparatorias bautismales. Los padrinos deben ser católicos practicantes plenos, estar casados ​​por la Iglesia Católica o ser solteros, y no pueden estar conviviendo con una pareja.


Primera Reconciliación y Primera Comunión:
Este es un programa de 2 años consecutivos. Los niños deben tener al menos 7 años de edad (primer grado) para comenzar la preparación para estos dos sacramentos. Se requieren certificados de nacimiento y bautismo al momento de la inscripción.

Confirmación:
La confirmación está abierta a estudiantes de 7.º a 12.º grado o mayores de 12 años. Necesitaremos una copia del certificado de nacimiento y bautismo de su hijo, con anotaciones que detallen su Primera Comunión.

Niños RICA:
Se ofrece a estudiantes mayores de 12 años que no hayan recibido el Bautismo o la Primera Comunión. Las clases generalmente se ofrecen en español.
